The Difference is the Dentistry
Dental implants are the natural-looking replacement solution for patients with one or more missing teeth. Implants are permanently anchored into the jawbone, allowing for improved chewing and speaking. Unlike dentures, which can slip out or feel uncomfortable, dental implants are securely held in place, letting you eat all of your favorite foods with no restrictions or messy adhesives.
In order to receive your dental implant, you must undergo oral surgery. During the procedure, we will place the small titanium anchor directly into the jawbone through a small incision. Once the implant is in place, the gums will be stitched, and the healing period can begin. We will give you a temporary replacement to wear while your implant is healing.
During the three to six month healing period, the implant will integrate with your jawbone, acting as an artificial tooth root and providing a stable hold for your restoration. Once your implant has healed, we will place your permanent crown, bridge, or dentures for a complete and healthy smile!
Not only will your smile look beautiful, but the health and function of your teeth and facial structure will be restored as well. Eat, speak, and share your smile for a lifetime of confidence!
